The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than the Google Nexus 7, with a 68.3 score against 59.3. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) body is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than the Google Nexus 7's, although it is a bit heavier.

The Google Nexus 7 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with an extra GPU.
