Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate is way better than the Acer Iconia W510, with a global score of 79.3 against 57.5. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS OS, while Acer Iconia W510 comes with Windows 8 OS. Google Pixel Slate's construction is noticeably newer and thinner than the Acer Iconia W510's, but it's also much heavier.
The Acer Iconia W510 features a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 14 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 2 processing cores, the Acer Iconia W510 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Google Pixel Slate has a brighter screen than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a lot better screen density, a larger display and a much better 3000 x 2000 resolution.
The Google Pixel Slate features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. The Google Pixel Slate has a greater camera than Acer Iconia W510. Both of them have a 8 mega-pixels camera in the back, the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates.
Acer Iconia W510 features a very superior battery performance than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, giving up a couple features and specifications.
