Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate is a bit better than the iPad Air 2, having a 79.3 score against 79.3. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, and iPad Air 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS. Google Pixel Slate's design is incredibly newer, but heavier and thicker than the iPad Air 2. Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a bit better CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has lesser RAM memory and less 1.5 GHz processing cores, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
IPad Air 2 features a little bit better display than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a way smaller display, a just a little lower display density and a lot worse resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. IPad Air 2 features a camera that is just as good as Google Pixel Slate's camera, and although the iPad Air 2 has a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and videos in low light situations, they both have a 8 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than iPad Air 2, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. The iPad Air 2 has a way better battery duration than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPad Air 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the iPad Air 2, giving up some features and specs.
