Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate is a lot better than the Google Nexus 7, having a 79.3 score against 59.3. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, while Google Nexus 7 comes with Android 5.1 OS. Although the Google Pixel Slate is way heavier than the Google Nexus 7, it's noticeably thinner and also newer.
The Google Nexus 7 features a processor that is just as good as Google Pixel Slate's processor, because although the Google Nexus 7 has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores and an additional GPU. The Google Pixel Slate features a bit better looking display than Google Nexus 7, because it has a really bigger screen, a lot better 3000 x 2000 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The Google Pixel Slate captures greater pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. Google Pixel Slate counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Google Nexus 7, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Google Nexus 7 features a much longer battery life than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 7. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Nexus 7, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
