Google Pixel Slate is a lot better than the LG G Pad 8.0, with a score of 79.3 against 58.6. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS operating system, while LG G Pad 8.0 counts with Android 5.0 operating system. Google Pixel Slate's design is noticeably thinner but incredibly heavier than the LG G Pad 8.0.

Google Pixel Slate counts with a bit more powerful CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Google Pixel Slate has a bit more vivid screen than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a way better resolution of 3000 x 2000, a way bigger screen and a lot higher display pixels density.

Google Pixel Slate features a lot better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Google Pixel Slate also has a way better 8 MP resolution back-facing camera. Google Pixel Slate features a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

The LG G Pad 8.0 has a much better battery performance than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. If you are trying to save some money, you can get LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
