IPod touch 6th generation works with iOS 12.x OS, and HP TouchPad works with webOS 3.0 OS. IPod touch 6th generation's design is way newer, notably lighter and thinner than HP TouchPad.

The iPod touch 6th generation features a bit better processor than HP TouchPad, although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, they both have a Dual-Core CPU. The iPod touch 6th generation counts with an incredibly better looking display than HP TouchPad, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 640 x 1136px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a way higher display pixel density.

IPod touch 6th generation costs a bit more money than HP TouchPad, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
