Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a global score of 41, which is just a bit better than the HP TouchPad's 40.2 general score. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD has Android 4.0 operating system, while HP TouchPad has webOS 3.0 operating system. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD construction is newer, notably lighter and a lot thinner than HP TouchPad.

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with a lot better display than HP TouchPad, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 900 x 1440 and a lot better display density.
