Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than HTC Flyer CDMA's overall score of 57.3. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a newer 3.0 version while HTC Flyer CDMA has Android 2.3.3. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the HTC Flyer CDMA were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 construction is a little bit heavier but also incredibly thinner than the HTC Flyer CDMA.

The HTC Flyer CDMA counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, although it has a lower number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a slightly better display than HTC Flyer CDMA, and although they both have the same number of pixels in each inch of display, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a larger screen and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280.

HTC Flyer CDMA shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video definition, the HTC Flyer CDMA also has a camera in the back with a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little bit better memory capacity to install applications and games than HTC Flyer CDMA, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a much better battery life than HTC Flyer CDMA, because it has a 50% more battery capacity.
