The HTC Flyer is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.0, getting a general score of 58.7 against 58.6. These devices have Android operating system, but HTC Flyer has the previous 3.2 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. HTC Flyer is a heavier and thicker portable tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0.
LG G Pad 8.0 features a little bit better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has more cores and a faster GPU. LG G Pad 8.0 features a sharper screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a little bigger display, a higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a little better count of pixels per inch of display.
HTC Flyer has a bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory. The HTC Flyer shoots much better videos and photos than LG G Pad 8.0. Both have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a same resolution camera.
The LG G Pad 8.0 features just a bit better battery lifetime than HTC Flyer, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the HTC Flyer, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go a couple features and specifications.
