The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is much better than HTC Flyer, with a 66.2 score against 58.7. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version, so it offers some extra features. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 construction is incredibly newer, notably thinner and lighter than the HTC Flyer.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a sharper screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a quite larger screen, a better 1280 x 800 resolution and a quite better count of pixels in each inch of display. HTC Flyer features a greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a little better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a larger number of cores , a greater amount of RAM memory and a better graphics processor. HTC Flyer has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality, the HTC Flyer also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit better battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has an 11% more battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
