The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than HTC Flyer's 58.7 global score. Even though the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the HTC Flyer were released with only 8 months difference, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a lot thinner and somewhat lighter. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a more recent 4.1.2 version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version, so it offers a couple additional features and increased performance.
HTC Flyer has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the HTC Flyer also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and HTC Flyer count with incredibly similar displays, both have the same resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, the same quantity of pixels in each inch in the display and a same size display.
The HTC Flyer shoots greater photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rate, the HTC Flyer also has a back camera with a much better 5 MP resolution. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features slightly more storage to store more apps and games than HTC Flyer, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and HTC Flyer both feature really similar battery durations.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC Flyer, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC Flyer. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC Flyer, resigning a couple features and specifications.
