The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a a lot thinner and a lot lighter tablet than HTC Flyer, even though both were released only 7 months apart. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version.

So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some dollars and get the HTC Flyer, letting go some features and specifications.
