The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a global score of 58.8, which is a bit better than HTC Flyer's overall score of 58.7. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the newer 4.0 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2, providing the user some extra features and performance enhancements. Although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and HTC Flyer were released only a few months apart, Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's design is just a little bit heavier but way thinner than HTC Flyer.
The HTC Flyer has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a lower number of 1500 MHz cores, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a bit more vivid display than HTC Flyer, and although they both have the same screen density, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a larger display and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280.
HTC Flyer has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 32 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity. The HTC Flyer counts with a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rate, the HTC Flyer also has a back camera with way more megapixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a much longer battery duration than HTC Flyer, because it has 6100mAh of battery capacity.
