HTC Flyer has a score of 58.7, which is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 score. Although it's the best device we are comparing, it must be noted that it's also an a lot older, noticeably thicker and somewhat heavier device. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit faster CPU than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more 1.5 GHz cpu cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a little bit better display than HTC Flyer, because it has a little larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a lot better display pixel density.
HTC Flyer features a little bit more storage for apps and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a greater camera than HTC Flyer, because it has a lot better video resolution and a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has longer battery duration than HTC Flyer, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The HTC Flyer costs a bit more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
