The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is a little bit better than HTC Jetstream's 63.6 general score. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has newer 4.0.4 version while HTC Jetstream has Android 3.1. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and HTC Jetstream were released with only 0 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a lot lighter and incredibly thinner.
The HTC Jetstream has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.7, although it has a weaker GPU running at 266 megahertz, they both have a 1 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a little bit better looking display than HTC Jetstream, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 800 x 1280 resolution and a greater display pixel density.
HTC Jetstream takes way better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a way higher video quality. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC Jetstream, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has more internal storage.
HTC Jetstream counts with a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a 43% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC Jetstream, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC Jetstream. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC Jetstream, resigning a couple features and specs.
