The HTC Jetstream is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab, with a overall score of 63.6 against 58.6. Although the HTC Jetstream is newer than Galaxy Tab, it is way heavier and a little thicker. These tablets come with Android operating system, but HTC Jetstream has a more recent 3.1 version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, counting with some extra features and improved performance.
HTC Jetstream features a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has more CPU cores, a higher amount of RAM memory and an additional graphics processing unit. The HTC Jetstream features a bit better display than Galaxy Tab, because although it has a quite worse display pixel density, it also counts with a better 768 x 1280px resolution and a lot larger display.
The HTC Jetstream counts with much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both have equal internal storage. The HTC Jetstream features a way better battery performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The HTC Jetstream shoots better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a way better 1920x1080 video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot higher 8 megapixels resolution.
Although HTC Jetstream is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
