Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a score of 68.3, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD's 62.7 general score. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD has Android 4.0. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) body has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, but it's way lighter.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD has a much better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920, a just a little higher screen pixel density and a bigger display. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a greater amount of RAM.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a way better camera than Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, although it has a lot worse 5 MP resolution back camera and a lower (Full HD) video quality. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 400 GB.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD features improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 32% bigger battery size.
