Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD Review

Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is a high-level Android portable tablet released some years ago, in 2012, packed with a powerful Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz, a really big 10.1-inches touch-screen, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is a very compact device, taking into consideration it packs a 10.1" screen and it is only 10.13" long and 6.93" wide. This tablet has an inspired design, with a thickness of just 0.35 inches. Huawei didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 20.46 ounces tablet.

This device is equipped with a nice 10.1" screen with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, which makes all images and movies look very good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

Huawei decided to build this tablet with a fast Quad-Core processor running at 1200 megahertz with 1 GB RAM memory. An amazing feature of this tablet is its 32 GB astonishing internal memory and although it doesn't count with a slot for SD memory cards, it is still enough to store lots of apps, games, photos and videos without even thinking about filling it.

This tablet has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD also films videos in Full HD 1920x1080. The camera also has a few nice features: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This tablet includes WiFi capability (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless router), 4G (LTE) fast internet connection and also HSPA+ data connection, a slower 4G technology and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This device doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.

This device also includes a couple interesting features such as Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD features a 6600 mAh huge Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that provides this device an amazing battery duration. An issue to take into account is that this tablet's battery is not removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to last shorter, while with its 6600 mAh you will probably replace this tablet device before that becomes an issue.
