Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD Review

Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is a solid Android tablet launched back in 2012, coming with a really big 10.1" touch-screen, a good performance 1200 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front camera. But let's get into some more details.

It seems like Huawei forgot about weight optimization in this 20.46 ounces portable tablet. Being just 0.35" thick,this tablet is very thin and stilized. While this tablet is just 10.13 inches long, it still manages to pack a 10.1" display.

This device is equipped with a powerful 1.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU with 1 GB RAM. A good point of the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is its quite large 16 GB internal storage and while it doesn't have an external SD slot, it is enough to install hundreds of apps, but it may not be suitable if you are planning to install some of the heaviest games available nowadays.

This tablet features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front side camera. It can also shoot videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). The camera also includes a couple of useful characteristics: flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

This tablet has a very good 10.1" display with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, which makes all images and videos look great. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This device provides wi-fi capability (but it can't share it with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed data connection and also HSPA+ connection type, a slower 4G variation and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD doesn't have a sim card, because it's not a GSM enabled tablet.

This tablet uses a big capacity 6600 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep this tablet running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it at all. An issue to consider is that the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD's battery is non-removable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, though with such a big battery you will probably discard this tablet before it becomes an issue.

This tablet also comes with some nice characteristics as Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is probably the right choice for you no matter if you want this device to take tons of photos, will use it for work, want this tablet mostly for social networks or are looking for a tablet for playing games.
