Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD Review

Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is a good quality Android tablet released some years ago, in 2012, with a good performance Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, a large 10.1-inches touch-screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera.

This tablet doesn't feel very lightweight comparing to other tablets , weighting 20.46 oz. Though the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD only has 10.13 inches long, it is still able to fit a a 10.1" screen. The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is just 0.35" thick, making it one of the thinnest portable tablets in the market.

Huawei designed this tablet with a good level 10.1-inches screen, and a 1200 x 1920 resolution, which makes everything look very good. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Huawei sells this tablet with a great performance Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1200 megahertz with 1 GB RAM memory. This tablet comes with a quite large 8 GB internal storage memory and although it doesn't have an SD memory card expansion slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and apps, but it probably wouldn't be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games currently available or taking tons of photos and videos.

This tablet counts with wifi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high speed connectivity and also HSPA+ internet connection, a bit slower 4G variation and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM services.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. It is capable of shooting videos in Full HD 1920x1080. In addition, the camera features a couple of useful features: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This tablet counts with a large 6600 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours without having to charge it. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to get older, whereas having 6600 mAh you will probably buy a new portable tablet before it becomes a real problem.

This tablet also comes with a handful of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
