Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, with a overall score of 58.1 against 57.3. These tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an older 3.0 version while Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue has Android 4.1 version. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a just a bit thinner but noticeably heavier tablet than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a screen that's very similar to the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue one, and although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a larger screen and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have a better quantity of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal memory capacity.
Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster). Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, although it has a less mega pixels resolution back facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a superior battery duration than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4100mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 8.9, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, letting go a couple features and specifications.
