The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an overall score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's 73.3 overall score. Despite being the best in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a way older, heavier and a little bit thicker tablet than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the older 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features an incredibly better display than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a better 1600 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and 4 more processing cores. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a bit superior battery life than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has an 8220mAh battery size against 7500mAh.
