Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a general score of 73.3, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 general score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it gives some extra features and performance enhancements. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a notably newer and somewhat thinner tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it is a little bit heavier.
