The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a score of 72.7, which is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's overall score of 60.8. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has a more recent 5.0 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, offering a couple additional features. Huawei MediaPad X2 is a newer tablet, and it's also somewhat thinner and lighter than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a bit superior processing unit than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory, a 64-bit processing unit and a higher number of cores (although they are slower). Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Huawei MediaPad X2 both have incredibly similar displays, and although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has less brightness, they both have a same size display, an equal 1200 x 1920 resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
Huawei MediaPad X2 takes way better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a slightly better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a very superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad X2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go a couple features and specs.
