The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad X2, with a general score of 75.8 against 72.7. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an older, a bit thicker and extremely heavier portable tablet than Huawei MediaPad X2. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the older 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0.

Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display density. Huawei MediaPad X2 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB.

Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with more cpu cores (although slower) and a 64 bits processor.

Huawei MediaPad X2 takes just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a camera with a much better resolution. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much better battery duration than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has a 64% larger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad X2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei MediaPad X2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), else you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad X2, resigning a couple features and specifications.
