Huawei MediaPad X2 has an overall score of 72.7, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 general score. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, so it offers a couple additional features. The Huawei MediaPad X2 is a notably newer tablet, and it is also extremely lighter and way thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a much higher 1920 x 1200px resolution and a much greater pixels density. Huawei MediaPad X2 has a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores, a 64-bits processing unit and 2 GB more RAM.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video quality and a lot more MP back facing camera. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 24 GB more internal memory capacity.

Huawei MediaPad X2 features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
