The Huawei MediaPad X2 has an overall score of 72.7, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s score of 68.3. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has the previous 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Huawei MediaPad X2's construction is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), even though it was released 4 years before.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 64-bits processor, more cpu cores and more RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a lot better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a lot more pixels per screen inch.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a superior camera than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution camera and a worse 1920x1080 video quality. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad X2, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei MediaPad X2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), giving up a couple specifications.
