LG G Pad X 8.0 is much better than Huawei MediaPad, with a global score of 63.5 against 56.4. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but LG G Pad X 8.0 has 6.0 Marshmallow version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 version, giving some nice extra features. The LG G Pad X 8.0 design is lighter and noticeably thinner than the Huawei MediaPad.
LG G Pad X 8.0 features a screen that is very similar to the Huawei MediaPad one, although the LG G Pad X 8.0 also has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920, more pixels per screen inch and a little bit larger screen. LG G Pad X 8.0 has a much greater memory for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB and 12 GB more internal storage capacity.
The LG G Pad X 8.0 has a bit faster CPU than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad takes better photographs and videos than LG G Pad X 8.0. They have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video definition and the same resolution camera in the back.
The LG G Pad X 8.0 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a 13% more battery size.
