Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a general score of 64.8, which is better than Huawei MediaPad's 56.4 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 design is a lot thinner and lighter than Huawei MediaPad. Both tablets we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has newer 4.0.4 version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 version.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit superior CPU than Huawei MediaPad, and although they both have 2 cpu cores and 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a better graphics processing unit running at 320 megahertz. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a little more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a bit larger display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 64 GB internal memory. The Huawei MediaPad features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Huawei MediaPad also has a much better 5 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a 5100mAh battery size instead of 4100mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei MediaPad. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad, resigning some specifications.
