The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad's 56.4 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a heavier but thinner portable tablet than the Huawei MediaPad. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has 3.0 version and Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 version.

Huawei MediaPad features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have 2 cores, the Huawei MediaPad also has an additional graphics processor. The Huawei MediaPad features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 8.9 costs a little more money than the Huawei MediaPad, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
