Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad, with a 58.8 score against 56.4. Both tablets we compare here use the same Android 4.0 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner tablet than Huawei MediaPad.
Huawei MediaPad has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Huawei MediaPad also has an additional graphics processor. Huawei MediaPad features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad also counts with a higher pixel density.
The Huawei MediaPad shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video quality, the Huawei MediaPad also has a way better 5 megapixels resolution back camera. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 12 GB more internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a much better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad, because it has 6100mAh of battery capacity.
