The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot better than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, getting a overall score of 75.8 against 55.2. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s design is incredibly thinner but incredibly heavier than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and both of them were only released with a few months difference. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features and enhanced performance.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much more vibrant screen than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a much better 1600 x 2560px resolution, a lot bigger display and a much higher display pixel density. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a superior performance than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a much better 450 MHz graphics co-processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 one, they have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 64 GB and equal internal memory. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a very superior battery life than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a bit better camera than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more MP.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. If you want to save some money, you can get the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
