Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an overall score of 62.7, which is much better than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's 55.2 overall score. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has older 4.0 version and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 construction is a lot heavier but thinner than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and both were released only 5 months apart.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features just a little better performance than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores (but faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also counts with a faster GPU running at 400 MHz. The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a little higher number of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera with lot more mega-pixels. The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 also has 32 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a superior battery duration than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a 100% greater battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, letting go a couple specifications.
