Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a score of 68.3, which is way better than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's global score of 55.2. Although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit heavier than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, it's somewhat thinner and noticeably newer. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 version, counting with a couple nice extra features.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s CPU is just as good as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's processing unit, because although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it has a lot worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, a quite smaller screen and a little worse screen density.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much better camera than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. Both of them have a same resolution camera in the back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 400 GB.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better battery lifetime than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a 43% more battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) costs a lot more money than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
