Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has an overall score of 57.6, which is slightly better than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's 55.2 global score. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 version, providing you a couple nice extra features. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD design has the same weight than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, but it's noticeably thinner.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit more vivid display than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a way higher display density and a little bit bigger screen. The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 features a greater storage to install applications and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a SD card slot that holds 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features just a little better performance than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes greater pictures and videos than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a back camera with a much higher resolution.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a 5100mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh.
Although Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, else you can save some dollars and buy the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, resigning some specs and features.
