Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an overall score of 61.4, which is a little bit better than the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000's general score of 56.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s design is older, thicker and just a little bit heavier than the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an older 4.1 version while Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 has Android 4.2.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 also has a greater number of faster cores and an additional GPU. The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have a screen of the same size, the same quantity of pixels in each inch in the display and an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 has a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 also has 32 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has just a bit better battery life than Lenovo IdeaTab S6000, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) takes clearer pictures and videos than Lenovo IdeaTab S6000, although it has a way less mega pixels back facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
