Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 Review

32 GB     See other variants reviews Score: 56.2 / 100

Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is a solid tablet launched in 2013, packing a big size 10.1-inches capacitive screen, a great Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera.

Lenovo decided to build this tablet using an exceptional Quad-Core CPU running at 1.2 GHz, bundled in the MediaTek MT8125 system chip with only 1 GB RAM which is a little disappointing comparing with this tablet's awesome CPU. Graphic intensive applications generally eats lots of CPU time, so it has an extra PowerVR SGX544 GPU working at 384 MHz to improve overall performance. This tablet comes with a 32 GB big internal memory and an SD card slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games available nowadays without even thinking about running out of space at all.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 feels much lighter than what you would expect from a tablet this size. The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is just 0.34 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest portable tablets currently available. This tablet is a very compact tablet, taking into account that it packs a 10.1 inches screen and it only has 10.24" long and 7.09" wide.

Lenovo packed the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 with a good 10.1" display, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, giving this tablet device a nice graphical experience. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This device includes Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSPA technologies. The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled portable tablet.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. To complete the camera, it also features auto-focus.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 also comes with a handful of cool characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This tablet features a 6530 mAh inmense Li-Polymer removable battery, enough to provide this tablet with an extremely long battery duration.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is really expensive considering it is offerred for $ 229, while some similar tablets are being sold for much less than that. It doesn't matter whether you are looking for a gaming portable tablet, are looking for a social tablet device or need this portable tablet for work, you will definitely be very satisfied with it.
