Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 Review

Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is a solid tablet launched in 2013, having a big size 10.1 inches multi-touch screen, a 1200 MHz Quad-Core processor, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera. Let's take a closer sight of what this tablet device offers to us.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is quite a compact device, given that it has a 10.1" display and it's just 10.24 inches long. This tablet is just 0.34 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest portable tablets podium. The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is much lighter than what one would expect from a tablet device of this size.

Lenovo designed this device with a nice 10.1-inches display, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, giving this portable tablet a good image quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Lenovo decided to build this tablet using an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor speeding at 1200 megahertz, bundled in a MediaTek MT8125 system chip and only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit low comparing with its impressive processor. Handling graphic rendering, it also has a PowerVR SGX544 GPU running at 384 MHz. This tablet comes with a good 16 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards, allowing the user to store a couple hundred applications and games without worrying about space.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. In addition, the camera counts with auto-focus.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 packs a 6530 mAh inmense Li-Polymer battery that can keep this device running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 provides WiFi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSPA technologies. The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM device.

This tablet also includes a couple of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device is really overpriced considering it is sold for $ 149, while many similar tablet devices are being sold much cheaper than that. It doesn't matter whether you need a tablet to mostly use social networks, will use it for playing games or are looking for a tablet for work, you will definitely be very pleased with it.
