Dell Venue 8 Pro has a score of 59.6, which is just a bit better than Lenovo S5000's general score of 56. Dell Venue 8 Pro works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Lenovo S5000 comes with Android 4.2 operating system. Despite being the best tablet we compare here, the Dell Venue 8 Pro design is notably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Lenovo S5000.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Lenovo S5000, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. The Lenovo S5000 has a bit more vivid display than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Lenovo S5000 also counts with a bit better pixels density.

The Lenovo S5000 counts with a little bit better camera than Dell Venue 8 Pro. Both of them have the same resolution camera in the back. Dell Venue 8 Pro features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Lenovo S5000, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a much longer battery lifetime than Lenovo S5000, because it has 4830mAh of battery capacity instead of 3450mAh.

Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo S5000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo S5000. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Lenovo S5000, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
