The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit better than Lenovo S5000, getting a score of 61.4 against 56. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version while Lenovo S5000 has Android 4.2 version. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a extremely heavier and much thicker tablet device than the Lenovo S5000.
The Lenovo S5000 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Lenovo S5000 also has 2 more CPU cores and a GPU. The Lenovo S5000 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Lenovo S5000 also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Lenovo S5000, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) captures a bit better pictures and videos than Lenovo S5000, although it has a much lower resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a way better battery performance than Lenovo S5000, because it has a 103% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lenovo S5000, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo S5000. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Lenovo S5000, giving up a couple specifications.
