The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is better than Lenovo S5000, having a global score of 66.2 against 56. Both tablets we compare here come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Lenovo S5000 has Android 4.2 version, giving some nice extra features and performance improvements. Even being the best tablet in this comparison review, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 construction is way heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Lenovo S5000.
Lenovo S5000 features a little bit better display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Lenovo S5000 also counts with a quite better pixels quantity in each inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Lenovo S5000, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a CPU that is very similar to Lenovo S5000's processor, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a larger amount of RAM and a faster graphics processing unit, they both have a Quad-Core processor. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Lenovo S5000, although it has a camera in the back with much less megapixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with improved battery performance than Lenovo S5000, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3450mAh.
