Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than the Lenovo S5000's 56 general score. Despite being the best tablet we are comparing, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a notably heavier and thicker tablet than Lenovo S5000. These devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has older 3.0 version and Lenovo S5000 has Android 4.2 version.
Lenovo S5000 features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Lenovo S5000 also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab 8.9 features much more storage for games and applications than Lenovo S5000, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
Lenovo S5000 counts with a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores and a GPU. Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much better battery performance than Lenovo S5000, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity. Lenovo S5000 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way higher 5 MP resolution camera.
Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo S5000, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lenovo S5000. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Lenovo S5000, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
