Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a general score of 61.4, which is slightly better than the Lenovo TAB 2 A8's general score of 60.1. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version and Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has Android 5.0. Although it's the best tablet we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a heavier and a little bit thicker tablet than Lenovo TAB 2 A8.

The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a really superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also has an extra graphics co-processor, a greater number of faster cores and a 64-bits CPU. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with a higher pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a bit better camera than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, although it has a lot less megapixels back camera. The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 counts with a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a superior battery lifetime than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 4200mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Lenovo TAB 2 A8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Lenovo TAB 2 A8, giving up some features and specifications.
