Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version, so it offers lots of additional features and enhanced performance.

The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a bit better processing power than Asus Fonepad 7, because although it has a 32 bits processing unit instead of 64-bits, and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster). The Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a little more vivid display than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800 and a just a bit less pixels per display inch.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus shoots way better pictures and videos than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad 7.

Although Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus Fonepad 7. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Asus Fonepad 7, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
