Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's design is much newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a newer 7.1 Nougat version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920, a little bigger display and a way better pixels density. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 8 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 128 GB.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and more cores. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 4850mAh battery size.
Although Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go some features and specifications.
