The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit better than the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, getting a 68.3 score against 63.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s design is newer than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's, although it's heavier and thicker. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has more processing cores. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a display of the same size, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a better count of pixels per inch of screen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a little bit better camera than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video quality and a back camera with much less mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has much more storage to store more games and applications than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 400 GB and 32 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a little better battery duration than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4850mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit more expensive than the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
