Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a bit better than Lenovo Tab A8, getting a 57.6 score against 55.5. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a somewhat thinner and a little lighter tablet than the Lenovo Tab A8. Both tablets we are comparing include Android OS, but Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has 6.0 Marshmallow version and Lenovo Tab A8 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives some extra features.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a little more vivid display than Lenovo Tab A8, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a better pixels amount in each inch in the display. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit better hardware performance than Lenovo Tab A8, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a greater camera than Lenovo Tab A8, because it has a much better 8 mega pixels resolution camera in the back. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bigger memory to store more apps and games than Lenovo Tab A8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
