The LG G Pad 10.1 has a score of 58.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 overall score. The LG G Pad 10.1 body is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad 10.1 has a newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a little sharper screen than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.

The LG G Pad 10.1 features a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an extra graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores. The LG G Pad 10.1 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more MP. The LG G Pad 10.1 counts with superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity against 6000mAh.

LG G Pad 10.1 not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also the cheapest one, which makes it a simple decision.
