The Google Nexus 7 has a global score of 59.3, which is a bit better than LG G Pad 7.0's 56.6 overall score. Google Nexus 7's construction is heavier and a little thicker than the LG G Pad 7.0. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 7 has 5.1 version and LG G Pad 7.0 has Android 5.0, so it counts with a lot of extra features.

The Google Nexus 7 has just a little better hardware performance than LG G Pad 7.0, although it has a weaker graphics co-processor, they both have a Quad-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM. The Google Nexus 7 features a little more vivid screen than LG G Pad 7.0. They have a display of the same size, the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and the same display density.

Google Nexus 7 counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 7.0, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. The LG G Pad 7.0 has a lot better camera than Google Nexus 7. The Google Nexus 7 counts with just a little better battery performance than LG G Pad 7.0, because it has an 8% larger battery capacity.

Although Google Nexus 7 is a better device, it costs more money than the LG G Pad 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 7.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Nexus 7, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 7.0, giving up a couple specifications.
