Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a general score of 62.7, which is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 overall score. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation comes with iOS 7.x OS, while LG G Pad 8.0 comes with Android 5.0 OS. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation design is incredibly lighter and extremely thinner than LG G Pad 8.0.

LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has more RAM, 2 more cores and a much better graphics processor running at 450 MHz. The iPod Touch 5th Generation has a better display than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little bit worse 1136 x 640 pixels resolution, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the display.

IPod Touch 5th Generation features a greater camera than LG G Pad 8.0. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a 5 MP back camera and the same (Full HD) video quality. The iPod Touch 5th Generation features a much better storage to install applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a way better battery performance than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 1030mAh.

Although iPod Touch 5th Generation is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPod Touch 5th Generation, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, resigning some specifications.
